The interviews consist of questions surrounding their upbringing in the Western PA area and what things they remember most about their youth athletic days and childhood in general. The interview then transition into their current life and career. This is a way for the athletes to connect with their roots and give their fans an inside look at what it was like growing up in The Burgh.

Welcome to The Bottom Shelf. Our goal is to find the best whiskeys that you can get your hands on for an affordable price. 

Here is what you are going to find on our podcast.

We will have reviews of budget whiskey using the following rules:

1. We personally purchased the bottle for under $30 before tax. To stay in line we do not accept bottles as gifts for the show or special discounts. All purchases must be able to be done by any regular consumer.
2. Two of our reviewers are always blind. This is so that brand and price will not have an effect on their judgment of the whiskey. (Josh has to pour the spirit and host, so he is not drinking blind.)

We will regularly hold episodes of blind flights, or Budget Brawls, on one (1) type of whiskey in an attempt to determine the best whiskey in that category for under 30$

Occasionally, we will hold episodes on whiskey we were able to get for under 30$, but that are not regularly at that price.

The Bottom Shelf

The Brudders in the ‘Burgh Sports Podcast is made up of two brothers from Pittsburgh who come from a football family.  Both Brudder Ralph and Brudder Joe played Division-1 football and lean on their experience to shed light on current topics.  The Brudders’ have two distinct beliefs; Pittsburgh is the Greatest City in the World and Play Multiple Sports.  
These two beliefs typically surface when they are joined by their guests, which include Super Bowl champion Lance Moore, 11-year NFL Quarterback Bruce Gradkowski and Pittsburgh Sports Media Legend Alby Oxenreiter.  Their cousin Gino Gradkowski, a Super Bowl Champion with the Baltimore Ravens, has a regular segment on the show called The Horse’s Stable.
The Brudders try and bring a dinner table conversation around the world of Pittsburgh sports.  There’s a lot of laughs, a lot of chops being busted and a lot of insightful knowledge shared by the Brudders and their guests!
